About Us

Nondestructive Testing Company was founded by Billy Joe Bob in 1975 when he accidentally used a pregancy ultrasound machine on an airplane wing and realized he could see a crack. The potential was immediately obvious, and Mr. Bob went to work acquiring talent so he could form a way to help airplanes not fall out of the sky. With time, Mr. Bob expanded NDT to provide a range of products, which fall into 3 categories:

• Automated Test Systems
• System Accessories
• Instrumentation

But Mr. Bob didn't stop there. Realizing that not everyone wanted to purchase a full-fledged system to do the testing themselves, he went on to create a lab using his systems to provide testing services as well. Today, Nondestructive Testing Company has laboratories in 4 locations across the United States.
